A Bit Of History.....
The Barn Stars of Pennsylvania date back to the 1820's and were most popular after the American Civil War. In the days of long ago, American farm owners - especially on German farms - placed a star on the side of their barn. Sometimes it was believed to have been a trademark of the barn builder. Others believed Barn Stars were a symbol of protection, good fortune and good luck!
